Ernest Habiyambere (born 1999) is a Rwandan professional tennis player. He has played in the Davis Cup with Rwanda.
Biography[]
As a child, Habiyambere enjoyed doing flips and jumping tricks, until he prioritized tennis over it instead.
Habiyambere started playing tennis at a young age, and became the top seed in Rwanda at 17 after winning the Umubano Hotel Tennis Open.[1] Before that, he played and won bronze in the ITF/CAT 14 circuit.[2] He went to the Davis Cup in 2022 and is returning in 2023.[3] He now lives in Kenya as a coach.

Style of Play[]
Habiyambere has much technical ability and spin, as well as power. He is known for his speed and sliding on clay courts. He has a strong forehand and a one-handed backhand, as well as good slices.
